Literary character in short stories of Božena Benešová

Abstract:

Předmětem této diplomové práce je zkoumání kategorie literární postavy v povídkové tvorbě Boženy Benešové. Práce je neformálně rozdělena na dvě části. Cílem první části práce je nastínění povídkové tvorby Boženy Benešové v dobovém literárním kontextu a shrnutí základních uměleckých principů povídkových próz této autorky. Dále bude v práci předložen ucelený obraz dobové recepce povídkových souborů Benešové a její přijetí nejvýznamnějšími literárními vědci v průběhu 20. století. V druhé části práce bude vytvořena základní typologie postav povídkových próz Benešové, které budou zkoumány na základě skladebných postupů i v rámci jejich ideových základů. Cílem této části práce je snaha o co nejkomplexnější zachycení literárních postav ve všech jejich aspektech, tedy jak v rámci jednotlivých děl, tak ve vzájemných souvislostech mezi povídkami.

Abstract:

The subject of this thesis is to investigate the category of literary characters in the stories of Bozena Benesova. This work is informally divided into two parts. The aim of the first part is an outline of the stories of Bozena Benesova in the contemporary literary context summarizing the basic principles of artistic creation in short stories of this author. Further in this work will be presented a contemporary representation short stories of Benesova and its acceptance by the major literary scholars in the 20th century. In the second part of this work we will create a basic typology of characters of stories prose Benesova, which will be examined on the basis of compositional procedures in their ideological foundations. The aim of this work is the most comprehensive capture of literary characters in all their aspects, therefore, both within individual works, as well as in the relationships between stories.
