Cestovný ruch je vo svete v súčasnosti jedno z najdynamickejšie sa rozvíjajúcich odvetví hospodárstva. V rámci Slovenska, je to práve región Liptov, ktorý ma jednu z vedúcich pozícií na poli cestovného ruchu s veľkým potenciálom na jeho stály rozvoj.
