This paper focuses on changes in products of life insurance, which relates to implementation of EU Directive, concerning unisex attitude to amount of risk of clients. The opening part of the thesis describes life insurance issues and its typical aspects. Identification of changes and consequences of applying unisex rates in life insurance follows.
