Corporate Culture

Abstract:

Hlavním této cílem práce je vyhodnotit firemní kulturu ve vybrané organizaci a spokojenost zaměstnanců s firemní kulturou. Dílčím cílem je identifikace prvků firemní kultury a typu firemní kultury. Vybranou organizací je MediaRey S.E., respektive několik jejích oddělení. Práce nejdříve shrnuje teoretické poznatky o konceptu firemní kultury. Tvorba metodiky analýzy navazuje na poznatky shrnuté v teoretické části. Metodika výzkumu kombinuje kvalitativní a kvantitativní metody tak, jak je to doporučováno odborníky. Cílem kvalitativního výzkumu je popis prvků firemní kultury. Práce došla k závěru, že kultura vybrané společnosti je na velmi dobré úrovni jak z pohledu požadavků samotné společnosti, tak z pohledu potřeb zaměstnanců. Kultura společnosti je kontinuálně budovaná s využitím celé škály prvků firemní kultury, které jsou v harmonii. Pomáhá tak utvářet silnou značku. Kultura nemá jen formální podobu, ale je skutečně žita. Kultura také typově převážně odpovídá představám vlastních zaměstnanců (v úrovni 80 %). Slabou stránkou jsou procesy, které by měly být více upraveny pravidly, aby se zaměstnanci lévést změny. pe v procesech a vztazích orientovali a nehrozila demotivace na pracovišti, která může a možné i vede k menší spolupráci, než by si zaměstnanci přáli, neboť zaměstnanci touží po větší týmové spolupráci. Na základě těchto zjištění bylo doporučeno společnosti provést změny.

Abstract:

The main goal of this thesis is to evaluate the corporate culture in the selected organization and the satisfaction of employees with the corporate culture. The partial goal is to identify the elements of corporate culture and the type of corporate culture. The selected organization is MediaRey S.E., or several of its departments. The work first summarizes the theoretical knowledge about the concept of corporate culture. The development of the analysis methodology follows on from the findings summarized in the theoretical part. The research methodology combines qualitative and quantitative methods as recommended by experts. The goal of qualitative research is to describe the elements of corporate culture. The work came to the conclusion that the culture of the selected company is at a very good level both from the point of view of the requirements of the company itself and from the point of view of the needs of the employees. The culture of the company is continuously built using the whole range of elements of corporate culture, which are in harmony. It helps to create a strong brand. Culture does not only have a formal form, but is actually lived. The culture also typically largely corresponds to the ideas of the own employees (at the level of 80%). The weak point is the processes, which should be more regulated by rules, so that employees can better orient themselves in processes and relationships and there is no risk of demotivation in the workplace, which can and possibly leads to less cooperation than employees would like, because employees desire greater teamwork cooperation. Based on these findings, it was recommended that the company make changes.
