The possibilities of cooperation among pre-school teachers and elementary school teachers

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá možnostmi spolupráce mezi učitelkami mateřské školy a 1. stupně základní školy. Záměrem teoretické části je osvětlit způsob a význam spolupráce mezi mateřskou a základní školou a zároveň poukázat na důležitou roli učitele v tomhle procesu. Hlavním cílem empirické části je prozkoumat možnosti spolupráce mezi učitelkami mateřských a základních škol, prostřednictví kvalitativní výzkumné metody focus group a kvantitativní metody dotazníkového šetření. Dílčími cíli výzkumného šetření je zjistit, jak často spolupracují učitelé mateřských a základních škol, v jakých oblastech probíhá spolupráce nejčastěji a zdali zaznamenávají v praxi negativa spolupráce nebo naopak zjistit jaký má spolupráce přínos. Dále je cílem prozkoumat klima školy a jeho vliv na spolupráci mezi učiteli a porovnat spolupráci sloučených a samostatných škol. Získaná data jsou analyzována a závěrem práce vyhodnocena. Je zde také uveden přínos práce a doporučení pro praxi.

Abstract:

This Master Thesis deals with possibilities of cooperation among pre-school and elementary school teachers. The aim of the theoretical part is to explain the manner and the relevance of the cooperation among a kindergarten and an elementary school. At the same time, the aim is, to highlight the importance of the teacher's role in this process. The main objective of the empirical part is to explore the possibilities of cooperation between kindergarten and elementary teachers through qualitative research method of focus group and quantitative method of questionairres. Individual aims of the research methods are to discover how often the kindergarten and elementary teachers cooperate, in which fields the cooperation happens the most often, and whether they record negative effects of the cooperation, or by contrast, what is the contribution of the cooperation. Further objective is to explore the school climate and its impact on the cooperation between the teachers and to compare cooperation in integrated and non-integrated schools. The data obtained are analyzed and evaluated in the conclusion of the thesis, which also presents its contribution and further reccomendation for practice.
