This diploma thesis deals with the description of traditional and alternative methods of electricity production. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the principle of operation of thermal and nuclear power plants, but also renewable methods of electricity production, such as solar and wind power plants (plus practical examples).
