Comparative study of products of insurance against natural hazards which are acting on insurance market in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou živelního pojištění jako základního pilíře nabídky majetkového pojištění pojistitelů působících na území České republiky. Problematika je nazírána z pohledu klienta, podnikatele, přičemž se zabývá kvalitou pojistných produktů z hlediska podmínek pojištění a poměru ceny a kvality pojistné ochrany. Bakalářská práce vychází z dostupných pramenů, které se zabývají problematikou pojišťovnictví a z platné legislativy. Shrnuje teoretická východiska, přináší výsledky vlastního srovnání pojistných produktů na vzorku nejsilnějších pojišťoven působících na místním pojistném trhu a předkládá náměty na řešení pozitivní změny se zřetelem a důrazem na aktuální vývoj pojišťovnictví ve světě.Teoretická část je členěna na části zabývající se základními pojmy, historickým vývojem pojišťovnictví a členěním pojištění. V praktické části, práce předkládá charakteristiku živelního pojištění, srovnávací studii produktů živelního pojištění a konkrétní cenové kalkulace vedoucích pojistitelů na pojistném trhu České republiky. Bakalářská práce využívá názorů a zkušeností odborníků z praxe.

Abstract:

This Bachelor work grapple with problems of insurance against damage as a basic pillar of supply of underwriters general insurance business which works at the Czech Republic area. Problems are observed from the clients view, enterprisers view whereas they put mind to quality of insurance products in the term of insurance conditions and proportion of price and quality. The Bachelor work comes up from the available source-book, which put mind to insurance problems and from the valid legislature. It summarizes theoretical solutions, brings solutions of the personal comparison of the insurance products at the sample of the strongest insurance companies which work at the local insurance market and bring topics of solution of the positive changing in view and emphasis an actual trend in insurance business in the world. The theoretical part is structured in parts which are engaged in basic concepts, historical development of the insurance business and insurance segmentation. The part of practical work brings characteristic of insurance against natural hazards and concrete price calculations of the main insurance leader on the insurance market in the Czech Republic. The Bachelor work derives the benefit from opinions and experience of expert practice.
