Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá profesní etikou v kyberprostoru. V sekci nazvané technický kontext představuji stručnou historii internetu, jeho architekturu a regulační výzvy s tím spojené. Cílem této sekce je pochopit, jak se kyberprostor liší od reálného prostoru. V sekci nazvané etický kontext představuji základní etické termíny, etické normativní teorie a dostupné regulatorní nástroje. Cílem této sekce je odpovědět na otázku, proč je profesní etika v kyberprostoru klíčovým regulačním nástrojem. V sekci normativní teorie a jejich aplikace rozvíjím pravidla normující chování a pravidla pro budování charakteru, představuji současné kodexy chování a následně porovnávám normativní teorie a jejich aplikované formy z hlediska jednoduchosti, snadnosti aplikace, konzistence a komplexnosti. Docházím k závěru, že i přes své nedostatky je teorie budování charakteru perspektivnější normativní teorií a její aplikace by měla být dále zkoumána.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with professional ethics in cyberspace. In the section entitled Technical Context, I present a brief history of the Internet, its architecture, and the regulatory challenges involved. This section aims to provide a basic understanding of how cyberspace differs from real space. In the Ethical Context section, I introduce basic ethical terms, ethical normative theories, and available regulatory tools. This section aims to answer the question of why professional ethics is a crucial regulatory tool in cyberspace. In the Normative Theories and their Application section, I expand on normative rules for behavior and rules for character-building, introduce contemporary codes of conduct, and then compare normative theories and their applied forms based on simplicity, adoptability, consistency, and complexity in the Analysis section. I conclude that despite its flaws, the character-building theory is a more promising normative theory, and the application of this normative theory should be further explored.
