Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá souvislostmi automobilu a městským prostředím. Automobil má velký vliv na současnou podobu měst, ale rovněž determinuje i společnost, neboť je hlavním zdrojem mobility pro značnou část populace. Teoretický rámec práce pojednává o odlišných aspektech automobility, a to jak v souvislosti s urbánním prostředí a městskou společností, tak rovněž v kontextu trvalé udržitelnosti. V rešerši se značná část věnuje i vývoji automobilové dopravy na území socialistické Evropy. Práce dále pojednává o možných metodách výzkumu v otázkách automobility a rovněž možnostech jejich aplikace v praxi. Následně jsou vybrány tři dílčí výzkumy, které pojí společné téma diskutované v rešerši, a sice přepravní intermodalitu – tedy propojenost dopravních systémů. Cílem prvního výzkumu je identifikace postojů pravidelných řidičů vůči alternativním módům přepravy,a to za pomocí kvalitativní analýzy rozhovorů. Cílem dalších dvou výzkumů bude prostorová analýza dat parkovacích míst, která by mohla být potenciálními vhodnými plochami pro mimoměstské dojíždějící obyvatelstvo. Druhá část výzkumu se bude zabývat prostorovou vizualizací dat o dopravních nehodách – ta poslouží pro identifikaci kritických míst srážky mezi vozidly navzájem, ale i s chodci a vozy městské hromadné dopravy.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with connection between automobile and the city environment. Automobile has a great impact on the current city appearance and moreover it determines the society as it is the main source of mobility for a large part of population. The theoretical framework of this thesis discusses the different aspects of automobility in both the urban environment and society, and the sustainability context. A considerable part of the literature research is devoted to the development of automobile transport in the socialist Europe. Possible research methods and their applications in practise are discussed as well and three types of research are selected to unify the topic of transport intermobility discussed in the literature research – the interconnection of the transport systems. The goal of the first research is to identify attitudes of regular basis drivers to the alternative modes of transportation using the quantitative interview analysis. The goal of the next two research is the spatial analysis of parking-lot data, that could be suitable for commuters. The second part of the research is a visualization of traffic accident data, that will help to identify critical spots of car accidents of vehicles, passengers and public transportation vehicles.
