Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá potřebami rodin s dětmi s postižením. Cílem práce je popis a analýza potřeb rodin s dětmi s mentálním, tělesným či kombinovaným postižením. Vyhodnocení probíhalo na základě rozhovorů s informanty a výsledky poukazují na konkrétní potřeby rodin s postiženými dětmi. Teoretická část se zabývá popisem postižení, charakterizováno je mentální, tělesné a kombinované postižení. Dále přináší popis rodiny a soustředí se na rodiny s postiženými dětmi, analyzuje potřeby rodin s postiženými dětmi a mapuje negativní dopady postižení na pečující osobu. Poslední kapitola představuje sociální práci s rodinami, které pečují o postižené dítě, a charakterizuje sociální služby, jež jsou vhodné pro tuto cílovou skupinu. V závěru kapitoly jsou uvedeny terapie vhodné pro děti s postižením. Praktická část je věnována popisu kvalitativního výzkumného šetření, cílem výzkumného šetření je porozumět potřebám rodin s postiženými dětmi z perspektivy rodičů. Představeny jsou použité výzkumné strategie, výběrový soubor, etika a limity výzkumu. Následně kapitola předkládá analýzu a interpretuje data získaná z rozhovoru s rodiči postižených dětí. Hlavní část této práce nastiňuje potřeby rodičů postižených dětí a předkládá zápory či klady, které během péče o dítě vnímají.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the needs of families with a child or children with disabilities and handicaps. It aims to describe, as well as to analyze, needs of families with children suffering from mental, physical or combined disabilities or handicaps. The consequent evaluation is based on data received from direct interviews with informants. The results then reveal the specific and therefore individual needs of these families. The theoretical part of this thesis focuses on the description of disabilities, classifies and gives characteristics of mental, physical and combined disabilities. It presents a description of the family as such, and subsequently focuses on families with disabled child or children. The thesis then analyzes their specific needs and maps the negative effects of the child´s or children´s disability on the caregiver. The last chapter presents social work with families who take care of a disabled child or children. Moreover, it characterizes social services that are suitable for this target group. At the end of the chapter, therapies suitable for children with disabilities are listed. The practical part is devoted to the description of a qualitative research. The aim of this research is to understand the needs of families with disabled children from the parents' perspective. This part of the diploma thesis presents the used research strategies, sample, ethics and research limits. It then presents the analysis and interprets the data obtained from interviews with the parents of disabled children. The main part of this work outlines the perceived needs of parents of disabled child or children. Furthermore, it presents perceived disadvantages or pros that have occurred during childcare.
