The analysis of intercultural business dealings between selected countries

Abstract:

Ve své bakalářské práci se budu zabývat zkoumáním a analýzou interkulturní firemní komunikace mezi Čechy a Japonci. Hlavním cílem této práce bylo analyzovat kulturní odlišnosti, specifické obchodní taktiky ve vybraných zemích a jejich vliv na obchodní jednání. V teoretické části je popsána komunikace, interkulturní komunikace, Japonsko a jeho charakteristika, obchodní zvyklosti a průběh jednání. Nechybí ani srovnání s jinými státy. Informace pro zpracování teoretické části byly čerpány z odborných literárních zdrojů. Praktická část vychází z výsledků analýzy a rozboru průzkumu, který proběhl formou strukturovaných rozhovorů. Vzhledem ke zkušenostem a zaměření účastníků byly otázky připravovány na míru každého z nich. Na základě zjištění byl sestaven seznam klíčových bodů a skutečností souvisejících s daným tématem. Pro jejich ujasnění, vysvětlení, zlepšení a následné využití v praxi jsou navrhnuta konkrétní řešení a doporučení. Tato práce chce přinést informace, rady a návody, které by mohly pomoci českým firmám k postupnému pronikání na japonský trh. Současně by je měly připravit na důležitá obchodní vyjednávání, jež jsou podstatná pro úspěch celého obchodu. Firmy navíc získají návod, jak využít dostupné podpory ze strany kompetentních agentur a organizací.

Abstract:

In my thesis I will deal with examining and analyzing intercultural corporate communication between Czechs and Japanese. The main goal of this study was to analyze the cultural differences, specific business tactics in selected countries and their influence on business negotiations. The theoretical part is characterized by communication, intercultural communication, Japan and its characteristics, business practices and process of negotiations incl. the comparing with other countries. Information from the theoretical part are drawn from scientific, literary sources. The practical part is based on the analysis results and analysis of the survey, which was conducted by structured interviews. They were prepared for each subscriber examination separately, because of their experience and focus. Based on the findings, we have established a list of key points and facts related to that topic. For their clarification, explanation and subsequent improvement of practical use are suggested concrete solutions and recommendations. The benefit of this work will mainly gain valuable information, advice and guidelines that could help Czech companies to the gradual penetration of the Japanese market and should prepare for an important trade negotiations, which are essential for the success of the business. Companies will receive instructions on how to use available support from competent agencies and organizations
