Tématem této bakalářské práce je význam hospiců v procesu doprovázení a umírání. Je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretická část vymezuje pojem paliativní péče, popisuje historii vzniku hospiců ve světě i v České republice, vymezuje pojem hospic a zabývá se Hospicem sv. The theme of this thesis is the importance of hospices in the process of guiding and dying. It is divided into two parts, theoretical part defines the concept of palliative care, describes the history of hospice in the world in the Czech Republic, defines the concept of hospice and deals with the Hospice of St. John N.
