Lisbon Strategy, Beginning and Results

Abstract:

V březnu 2000, na summitu Evropské rady v Lisabonu, byl Evropskou unií zahájen proces, který si vytkl za cíl do roku 2010 přeměnit EU v „nejkonkurenceschopnější a nejdynamičtější, na znalostech založenou ekonomiku, která je schopna udržitelného růstu a zároveň vytváří více a lepších pracovních míst a posiluje sociální soudržnost“. Bakalářská práce „Lisabonská strategie, vznik a vývoj“ se zaobírá důvody vzniku Lisabonské strategie, jejími hlavními prvky, popisem současného stavu a také očekávanými výsledky. Cílem této práce je zhodnocení úspěšnosti Lisabonské strategie v posledních několika letech a její možnosti do budoucna.

Abstract:

At the summit of the European Commision in Lisbon in March 2000, the European Union commenced a process that sets the objective to make EU „the most competitive and dynamic knowledge-based economy capable of sustainable economic growth with more and better jobs and greater social cohesion by 2010“. The Bachelor thesis „Lisbon strategy, beginning and results“ to assess the reasons of the Lisbon strategy origin, its key agenda, and describes the actual state of the process as well as its expected results. The goal of this work is to evaluate to which extent the Lisbon strategy has been successful in the last few years and its future potential.
