Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je zaměstnanost osob ve výkonu trestu odnětí svobody. V teoretické části práce je popsán proces zaměstnávání osob ve výkonu trestu a právní úprava této oblasti. Teoretická část vymezuje systém odměňování, podmínky pro poskytování odměny, jakož i srážky z odměny a povinnost hradit náklady výkonu trestu odsouzenými. Teoretická část popisuje program zacházení, který odsouzení musí dodržovat. V této části práce jsou vymezeny výhody a nevýhody zaměstnávání odsouzených. Praktická část obsahuje výzkum provedený v konkrétním zařízení ve Věznici Jiřice. Metodou výzkumu je polostrukturovaný dotazník vlastní konstrukce. Cílem výzkumu je pomocí dotazníkového šetření blíže poznat proces zaměstnávání osob ve výkonu trestu v konkrétním zařízení, zjistit motivaci osob k práci, spokojenost s výší jejich finanční odměny jakož i pracovní pozice na kterých jsou odsouzení zaměstnáni.

Abstract:

The topic of this thesis paper is the employment of prisoners currently serving out their prison sentences. The theoretical part of this thesis will survey the process of employing persons who are serving time in prison and the legislation regulating this area. It will define the remuneration system, the terms and conditions for providing remuneration, as well as the pay deductions and a convict's obligation to cover the costs associated with serving out their prison term. The theoretical part will also describe the treatment program that prisoners must follow. Finally, in this part of the thesis, the pros and cons of employing convicts will also be defined. The practical part of this thesis paper contains research conducted at a specific facility in Jiřice Prison. The applied research method is a semi-structured and self-constructed questionnaire. The aim of this research is to learn more about the process of employing prisoners serving out their prison sentences at this particular facility and to ascertain what incentives they have to work and their level of satisfaction with the amount in paid earnings they receive and the job titles they have been assigned.
