Abstract:
Diplomová práce se zabývá postavením Indiánů v dětské literatuře. Práce analyzuje román od bělošské autorky žijící v první polovině dvacátého století a román od současného indiánského autora. Hlavní důraz je kladen na přítomnost stereotypů v těchto dvou knihách a jejich případný vliv na dětské čtenáře.Abstract:
The diploma thesis deals with the position of American Indians in children’s literature. It analyses the novel by white author who lived in the first half of the twentieth century and the novel by contemporary Native American author. The thesis focuses mainly on the presence of stereotypes in the two novels and their possible impact on children readers.
