Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Neformální komunikace vědeckých informací (invisible college) a její současný stav na vědeckých pracovištích MU“ charakterizuje neviditelné univerzity a mapuje neformální kanály vědecké komunikace, které neviditelné univerzity využívají. Sleduje historii a vývoj termínu neviditelná univerzita a mapuje posun z tradičního prostředí do prostředí elektronického. Zabývá se také základními charakteristikami, definicí tohoto pojmu a jeho různým nazíráním a základními metodami užívanými pro sledování neviditelných univerzit, ať již využívaných v minulosti, či v dnešní době. Práce je primárně rozdělena do dvou částí, teoretické a praktické. První část stručně shrnuje dosavadní poznatky o tomto tématu, druhá se pak věnuje výzkumu využívaní neformálních kanálů v rámci vědeckých pracovišť Masarykovy univerzity v Brně. Tento výzkum je veden formou dotazníkového šetření na výzkumných pracovištích lékařské a přírodovědecké fakulty. Cílem práce je tedy shrnout a charakterizovat základní společné atributy neviditelných univerzit a provést dotazníkové šetření na vědeckých pracovištích MU. Výsledky tohoto šetření jsou prezentovány v praktické části práce.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis 'Informal communication of scientific information (Invisible colleges) and its current situation at scientific workplaces of Masaryk University' deals with the concept of invisible colleges in science. It describes main features and history of the concept. It also deals with informal communication in science as whole and presents individual informal channels. It also follows the shift from invisible colleges to cyberspace colleges with the development of new informal communication channels. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first one summarizes the theoretical background of invisible colleges. The second then provides with the survey of usage of informal communication channels at scientific workplaces of Masaryk University, faculty of Science and Medicine in particular. The purpose of the thesis is to summarize the concept of invisible college and informal communication in science. The second goal is to learn which channels for informal communication are used at Masaryk University. The results of the survey are presented in second part of the thesis.
