Práce se zaměřuje na zobrazení Prahy a České republiky pro britské a americké turisty v tisku, propagačních materiálech a internetových zdrojích. Nejdříve vymezuje základní pojmy spojené s turismem (turismus, turista, rezident, návštěvník apod.) a stručně charakterizuje historii turismu. The thesis is focused on the depiction of Prague and the Czech Republic in tourism-related publications for British and American tourists. In the theoretical part, it briefly introduces the basic terms associated with tourism (tourism, tourist, resident, visitor, etc.) and the history of tourism.
