The master thesis deals with inclusion of literary text in teaching German as a foreign language. The literary text, that is used as an example is a Children’s and Young Adult Literature book “Vorstadtkrokodile. Eine Geschichte vom Aufpassen” written by the German author Max von der Grün. Magisterská práca sa zaoberá využitím literárneho textu pri výuke nemčiny ako cudzieho jazyka. Základom práce je kniha pre deti a mládež „Vorstadtkrokodile. Eine Geschichte vom Aufpassen“ (Krokodíli z predmestia) od nemeckého autora Max von der Grün.
