Social Work with Homeless People with Special Focus on the Character of the Helper

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce na téma "Sociální práce s bezdomovci se zaměřením na osobnost pomáhajícího`` je zjistit názory lidí, kteří vykonávají sociální práci s lidmi bez domova. Půjde o jejich názory na osobnost a vlastnosti pomáhajícího, co při práci s touto skupinou klientů považují za důležité a co je k práci motivuje. Nejdříve se věnuji teoretickému zakotvení sociální práce. Zaměřila jsem se také na popsání fenoménu bezdomovství. Tyto části dokresluji výpověďmi respondentů. Následně se věnuji supervizi a už blíže specifikuji práci se skupinou klientů bez domova. Nakonec hodnotím zpracované šetření. Jsou v něm uvedeny výpovědi respondentů, z kterých vyplývají určité oblasti. Těmi se zabývám v závěru práce. Rozdíly práce s touto skupinou klientů jsou dány především v několika oblastech, mezi které patří například určité vlastnosti pomáhajícího a skutečnost, že při přijímaní nových pracovníků je třeba dbát na vlastnosti a motivaci pracovníka k práci s danou skupinou.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis "Social Work with Homeless People with Special Focus on the Character of the Helper`` is to find different views of the people who work with people of no home. It will consider their opinion on the character and qualities of the helper, what they find important for working with homeless people and what is their motivation for this work. Firstly I deal with the theoretical roots of the social work. Then I also pay attention to the description of the phenomenon of homelessness. These parts are completed by the quotes of the respondents. Then I discuss the supervision and specify the work with people of no home more deeply. At the end I evaluate the results of my research. This part includes the statements of the respondents which cover different areas that I deal with at the end of my thesis. The differences of the work with these kind of clients appear in particular areas. These may be for example specific qualities of the supporter and the fact that these employers should be chosen according to their qualities and motivation for this job.
