Sound as the Narative Element in Bence Fliegauf's Films
Abstract:
Diplomová práca popisuje a analyzuje zvukovú skladbu hraných celovečerných a krátkych filmov maďarského režiséra Benceho Fliegaufa. Zvuk v jeho filmoch figuruje ako dôležitý naratívny prvok. Auditívna zložka reflektuje psychické rozpoloženie jeho postáv a dotvára prostredie, v ktorom žijú. Znepokojivú atmosféru, vždy prítomnú v jeho filmoch, dosahuje s pomocou ambientnej hudby.
Abstract:
This master's thesis describes and analyses the sound in the feature and short films by the Hungarian director Bence Fliegauf. The sound is an important narrative element in his films. The sound elements reflect the mental state of his characters and form the environment they inhabit. By using ambient music, he creates an unsettling atmosphere always present in his films.
