A Development of Musical Skills in Primary School Children

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá rozvojem hudebnosti u dětí mladšího školního věku. Práce seznamuje s konkrétními hudebními pojmy jako je hudebnost, hudební schopnosti či hudební tvořivost a se základy hudební teorie. Informuje o Orffově Schulwerku, zásadách orffovské práce a jejich využití v hodinách hudební výchovy na 1. stupni základní školy. V prvním oddílu praktické části jsou uvedeny návody na výrobu dětských hudebních nástrojů inspirovaných Orffovým instrumentářem. Součástí práce jsou náměty na konkrétní hudební aktivity ve škole, které slouží jako zásobník nápadů na činnosti s dětmi mladšího školního věku. Nástroje z prvního oddílu praktické části diplomové práce se v některých těchto cvičeních a hrách objevují jakožto didaktické pomůcky. Cílem práce je zamyslet se nad možností vynaložit více času, úsilí a originality, abychom dětem dopřáli kvalitnější hodiny hudební výchovy.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with a development of musical skills in primary school children. The work introduces specific topics such as musicality, musical skills, musical creativity and the basics of music theory. The work also informs about the Orff´s Schulwerk, the principles of the Orff´s work and its usage in the music lessons at the lower primary school. In the first part of the practical part of the thesis there are instructions for making children´s musical instruments which were inspired by the Orff´s instrument range. The thesis also includes topics for particular music activities at school, which could be used as a portfolio of ideas for working with young school children. The musical instruments presented in the first part of the practical part of the thesis are used in the activities as props and teacher´s aid. The aim of the thesis is to present possibilities of how to teach interesting music lessons, to inspire teachers and to inform about the importance of creating interesting lessons which has been unfortunately neglected.
