Analysis of the methods of working social workers in the child removal process

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku odebrání dítěte z pohledu sociálních pracovníků. Cílem je zjistit, jaké metody a postupy využívají sociální pracovníci orgánu sociálně-právní ochrany dětí při odebrání dítěte. V rámci teoretické části diplomové práce se věnujeme pojmu rodina a ohrožené děti. Dále poukazujeme na aktivity a činnosti sociálních pracovníků orgánu sociálně-právní ochrany dětí. Rovněž se zaměřujeme na představení procesu sanace rodiny a na postupy sociálních pracovníků při odebrání dítěte z rodiny. V rámci empirické části diplomové práce uvádíme podrobný popis realizace výzkumného šetření, včetně interpretace získaných dat. K dosažení stanoveného cíle jsme zvolili kvalitativní metodu, konkrétně polostrukturovaný rozhovor, který jsme vedli se sociálními pracovníky orgánu sociálně-právní ochrany dětí.

Abstract:

This thesis is aimed at the issue of taking a child away from family from the social workers' point of view. The aim is to find out what methods and procedures are used by social workers of the social and legal protection authority during taking the child away from the family. The theoretical part of the thesis is dedicated to specification of terms such as 'family' and 'vulnerable children'. Next to this, this part points out activities of social workers of social-legal child protection authority, as well as introduction of the term 'redevelopment of family' and procedures during removing the child from the family. In the empiric part of the thesis is presented detailed description of survey, including interpretation of the acquired data. Qualitative method was used, namely the semi-structured interview, in which social workers of the social-legal child protection authority were engaged.
