Transport infrastructure of of the city of Pardubice

Abstract:

Tématem této bakalářské práce je dopravní infrastruktura města Pardubice. Konkrétně se bude jednat o dopravu silniční, železniční, vodní a leteckou. V teoretické části budou obsaženy základní definice a pojmy z oboru dopravy, dále členění jednotlivých druhů dopravy a jejich výhody a nevýhody. Ve druhé části práce budou stručně uvedeny informace o městě. Dále se tato část zaměří na jednotlivá odvětví dopravy, která můžeme v Pardubicích nalézt. Poslední část práce se bude týkat možných řešení problémů pardubické dopravní infrastruktury. Tyto problémy budou zmíněny v jednotlivých podkapitolách. Největší pozornost bude věnována především projektům ze silniční a železniční sféry, jelikož tyto dva druhy dopravy jsou pro Pardubice v současné době stěžejní. Cílem této bakalářské práce je tedy představit dopravní infrastrukturu města Pardubice, poukázat na problémová místa a navrhnout jejich řešení, dále také naznačit možný vývoj dopravy.

Abstract:

The main topic of this bachelor thesis is the transport infrastructure of the city of Pardubice, particularly road, rail, water and air transportation. The theoretical part will provide basic terms and definitions from the transportation field as well as division of individual transport modes and their advantages and disadvantages. In the second part there will be provided brief information about the city. Furthermore, this section will focus on individual sectors of transport that can be found in the city Pardubice. The last part will cover possible solutions to problems of transport infrastructure of Pardubice. These issues will be discussed in the individual subsections. The most attention will be paid to projects of road and railway sectors, because these two modes are for Pardubice currently crucial. The purpose of this thesis is to introduce the transport infrastructure of the city of Pardubice, to identify problematic issues and to suggest their solution, as well as to indicate possible development of transport.
