Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá současným stavem udržitelnosti v pražských hotelech. Cílem studie je identifikovat příklady nejlepší praxe a problémy v oboru a zároveň navrhnout vhodný systém hodnocení udržitelnosti určený primárně pro hotelový průmysl. Tento přístup usnadní analýzu a porovnání výkonnosti hotelů v oblasti udržitelnosti a poskytne plán pro průběžné zlepšování. Dále práce navrhuje doporučení pro pražské hotely týkající se volby vhodné certifikace a dalších postupů. Tento výzkum přispívá k pokračujícímu úsilí pražského hotelnictví a pohostinství o dosažení udržitelného růstu tím, že zkoumá několik aspektů udržitelnosti a navrhuje praktická řešení.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis explores the current state of sustainability in Prague hotels. The study aims to discover best practices and industry difficulties while building an adequate sustainability rating system designed primarily to the hotel industry. This approach will make it easier to analyze and compare hotels' sustainability performance, as well as provide a roadmap for continual improvement. Furthermore, the thesis suggests a recommendations for Prague hotels regarding which official certifications to achieve in order to improve their sustainability performance in the following years. This research adds to the ongoing efforts of the hotel and hospitality sector in Prague to achieve sustainable growth by examining several facets of sustainability and proposing practical solutions.
