Dying and death of Přemyslid princes and kings
Abstract:
Jádrem této práce jsou úmrtí přemyslovských knížat a králů od dob Bořivoje I. po Václava III. z pohledu pramenů a archeologických nálezů. Práce si všímá literárního ztvárnění smrti panovníků, která reflektovala jejich zobrazení, jako ideálního panovníka nebo tyrana. Pozornost je věnována odlišnostem a vývoji zvyklostí při umírání a pohřbech přemyslovských vladařů.
Abstract:
The core of this work are the deaths of Přemyslid princes and kings from the time of Bořivoj I. to Václav III. from the point of view of sources and archaeological findings. The work pays attention to the literary depiction of the death of monarchs which reflected their portrayal as an ideal monarch or a tyrant.
