Nursing Process in a Patient after Hip Replacement Surgery

Abstract:

Tématem této bakalářské práce je ošetřovatelský proces u pacienta podstupující náhradu kyčelního kloubu. Práce je systematicky rozčleněna na dvě hlavní části - teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části je pozornost věnována patofyziologii kyčelního kloubu, nejčastějším onemocněním ovlivňujících jeho funkci, kritériím pro indikaci a kontraindikaci implantace totální endoprotézy, podrobnému popisu předoperační přípravy, metodám léčby, a také potenciálním komplikacím spojeným s operačním zákrokem. Důraz je kladen na specifika ošetřovatelské péče o pacienty po implantaci totální endoprotézy kyčelního kloubu během jejich hospitalizace, zahrnující klíčové aspekty rehabilitace a prevence možných postoperačních komplikací. V Praktické části je aplikována kazuistika u vybraného pacienta po operaci totální endoprotézy kyčelního kloubu podle koncepčního modelu Marjory Gordonové. Ošetřovatelské diagnózy byly stanoveny podle taxonomie NANDA II. U ošetřovatelských diagnóz byla dána priorita, následně cíle, očekávané výsledky, intervence, realizace a hodnocení.

Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is the nursing process in patients undergoing hip replacement surgery. The thesis is systematically divided into two main parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part focuses on the pathophysiology of the hip joint, the most common conditions affecting its function, criteria for the indication and contraindication of total hip arthroplasty, detailed description of preoperative preparation, treatment methods, and potential complications associated with the surgical procedure. Emphasis is placed on the specifics of nursing care for patients after total hip replacement surgery during their hospitalization, including key aspects of rehabilitation and prevention of possible postoperative complications. The practical part applies a case study of a selected patient after total hip replacement surgery according to the conceptual model of Marjory Gordon. Nursing diagnoses were established according to the NANDA II taxonomy. For each nursing diagnosis, the priority, goals, expected outcomes, interventions, implementation, and evaluation were defined.
