Dealing with family issues for children ordered into institutional care

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je tematicky orientována na problematiku sanace rodiny jako jednoho z důležitých mechanismů podpory úspěšnosti ústavní výchovy. Teoretická východiska práce vychází z aktuálních poznatků v oblasti výchovy, pojetí rodiny jako primárního socializačního prostředí a možných patologií v tomto prostředí, problematiky náhradní výchovy a sociální práce v oblasti sanace rodiny. Pozornost je věnována i práci orgánů sociálně právní ochrany při nařizování ústavní výchovy, sanaci rodiny a návratu dítěte do rodinného prostředí. Kvalitativní výzkumné šetření vychází z případových studií rodin, v nichž je nařízena ústavní výchova, proběhla sanace a dítě se vrátilo zpět k rodičům. Kazuistiky jsou porobeny analýze a komparaci za účelem odhalení mechanismů vedoucích k úspěšné sanaci rodiny a návratu dítěte z ústavní výchovy. Výstupem práce jsou strukturovaná doporučení pro zefektivnění procesu sanace rodiny a trvalého návratu dítěte do rodinného prostředí.

Abstract:

This Bachelor's dissertation is focused on the issues of rehabilitation of the family as an important mechanism of support in the success of institutional care. The theoretical basis of the dissertation ensues from the latest findings in the field of education, the concept of the family as the primary socialization environment and the possible pathologies in this environment, issues of substitute care and social work in the field of rehabilitation of the family. Attention is also focused on the work of social legal protection institutions in maintaining institutional care, rehabilitation of the family and returning children to the family environment. The qualitative research findings are based on case studies of families in which institutional care has been ordered, rehabilitation has taken place and a child has been returned to its parents. The case studies are subject to analysis and comparison for the purpose of revealing mechanisms leading to the rehabilitation of families and returning children from institutional care. The outputs of the dissertation are structured recommendations for improving the effectiveness of family rehabilitation and the enduring return of children to the family environment.
