The transition of children from preparatory class to primary education

Abstract:

Diplomová práce ,,Přechod dětí z přípravné třídy do základního vzdělávání‘‘ se zabývá popisem přechodu dětí z přípravné třídy do první třídy a zachycení pohledů učitelů na tento přechod. Diplomová práce je rozdělena na dvě části. První část se zabývá teorií, která charakterizuje období, kdy je dítě v přípravné třídě, souvislosti spjaté s přechodem a období, kdy je dítě v třídě první. Cílem empirické části je popsat přechod vybraných žáků od zahájení docházky v přípravné třídě až po čtvrtý měsíc v první třídě. Přechod je popsán i z pohledu učitelek z přípravných tříd a prvních tříd, které mají zkušenosti s přípravnou třídou a dětmi, které do ní docházely. Poznatky a výsledky výzkumu jsou sumarizovány do závěrečné diskuze.

Abstract:

The thesis „The transition of children from preparatory class to primary education‘‘ deals with the description of the transition of children from preparatory class to first grade and capturing teachers' views on this transition. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the theory that characterizes the period when the child is in the preparatory class, the connections connected with the transition and the period when the child is in the first class. The aim of the empirical part is to describe the transition of the selected pupils from the beginning of attendance in the preparatory class to the fourth month in the first class. The transition is also described from the point of view of teachers from preparatory classes and first classes, who have experience with the preparatory class and the children who attended it. The findings and results of the research are summarized in the final discussion.
