Driving under the influence of alcohol or other narcotic and psychotropic substances and related penalties

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku řízení motorových vozidel pod vlivem alkoholu a omamných a psychotropních látek. V teoretické části je popsán účinek alkoholu a omamných a psychotropních látek a v kontextu s tím, se zaměřuje na činnost bezpečnostních složek v této oblasti. Následně se věnuje přestupkům a trestným činům souvisejícím s řízením pod vlivem alkoholu a drog. V další části se práce soustředí na Královéhradecký kraj, a to na bezpečnostní situaci s důrazem na dopravní nehodovost pod vlivem alkoholu a omamných a psychotropních látek a komparací dat s výsledky celorepublikových statistik a dále práce sumarizuje preventivně bezpečnostních opatření. V kontextu teoretické části je zpracována praktická část zaměřená na zjištění, v jaké míře dochází k páchání protiprávního jednání při řízení motorových vozidel pod vlivem alkoholu a omamných a psychotropních látek. Součástí jsou výzkumné otázky, na které prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření bude odpovězeno. Výsledky praktické části jsou graficky a textově zhodnoceny a sumarizovány. Závěr je doplněn o komplexní zhodnocení problematiky.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of driving under the influence of alcohol and narcotic and psychotropic substances. In the theoretical part, the effect of alcohol and narcotic and psychotropic substances are described and in the context of this, it focuses on the activities of security forces in this area. Subsequently, it focuses on offences and crimes related to driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs. In the next part, the thesis focuses on the Hradec Králové Region, namely on the safety situation with an emphasis on traffic accidents under the influence of alcohol and narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, comparing the data with the results of national statistics, and the thesis summarizes preventive safety measures. In the context of the theoretical part, a practical part is elaborated aimed at determining the extent to which offences are committed when driving motor vehicles under the influence of alcohol and narcotic and psychotropic substances. It includes research questions that will be answered by means of a questionnaire survey. The results of the practical part are graphically and textually evaluated and summarized. The conclusion is completed with a comprehensive evaluation of the issue.
