Práca sa zaoberá vizuálnym vnímaním u detí s poruchou autistického spektra v porovnaní s komparačnou skupinou detí bez autizmu. Výskum vychádza z teórie slabej centrálnej koherencie a jej modifikácií, pričom si kladie za cieľ preskúmať deficity v globálnom spracovávaní vnemov a chápanie kontextu u detí s autizmom.
