Diplomová práce je zaměřena na účetní reformu státní správy a samosprávy a na analýzu jejího dopadu na hospodaření města Úvaly. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část v první řadě pojednává o postavení obcí v České republice a především se soustřeďuje na finanční hospodaření obcí a tvorbu rozpočtu.
