Abstract:
Bakterie Escherichia coli je častým původcem poodstavových průjmů a edémové choroby prasat. Infekce způsobené E. coli se nazývají kolibakteriózy. Tyto infekce jsou spojeny s mortalitou, úbytky prasat na váze a nutností použití antibiotické terapie. S používáním antibiotik, ať už jako terapeutik, nebo jako dříve, pro podporu růstu prasat, stoupá i antibiotická rezistence patogenních kmenů. Koliciny …more
Abstract:
Escherichia coli is a common causative agent of swine postweaning diarrhea and edema disease. Infections caused by E. coli are called colibacterioses. These infections result in death, decreased weight gain and the need to use antibiotic treatment. The antibiotic resistence of pathogenic strains increases when antibiotics are being used as terapeutics or to support swine growth. Colicins and microcins …more
