Industry 4.0 and the consequences for selected aspects of labour market

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem Průmysl 4.0 ve vztahu k jeho dopadu na vybrané aspekty trhu práce ve správním obvodu obce s rozšířenou působností Liberec (dále jen SO ORP Liberec), lokalitě s bohatou průmyslovou tradicí. Dotazníkovým šetřením byl prokázán nástup užívání prvků Průmyslu 4.0 v průmyslových podnicích, lokalizovaných v SO ORP Liberec a nastíněn trend, kterým se technologický vývoj bude ubírat. Prizmatem podniků byla zjištěna pozitiva a rizika zavádění prvků Průmyslu 4.0. Ve vztahu k trhu práce bylo zjištěno, jaké pracovní pozice budou zanikat, jaký podíl zaměstnanců bude uplatněn na jiných pracovních pozicích a jaký podíl bude přeškolován na obsluhu složitějších zařízení. Dále bylo určeno jakých pracovníků je na trhu práce nedostatek a jaké pozitiva a negativa mají absolventi škol. Dílčím zjištěním byl stav spolupráce podniků se školami a vliv krize způsobené virem COVID – 19 na urychlení zavádění prvků Průmyslu 4.0.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focuses on the topic of Industry 4.0 in relation to its impact on selected aspects of the labor market, specifically in locality of Liberec. This locality has a great industrial tradition. The survey proved the beginning of the use of Industry 4.0 elements in factories, which are localized in area of Liberec. The trend that technological development will follow was outlined too. The positives and risks of introducing elements of Industry 4.0 were identified through the view of point of factories. In relation to the labor market, it was found out which job positions will be lost, what share of employees will be employed in other job positions and what share will be retrained to operate more complex equipment. It was also determined which workers are in short supply on the labor market and what are the positives and negatives of school graduates. A partial finding was the state of cooperation between companies and schools and the impact of the crisis caused by the COVID - 19 virus on accelerating the implementation of elements of Industry 4.0.
