The issue of teaching health education in primary schools as part of integration with other subjects

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou integrace Výchovy ke zdraví do jiných vzdělávacích oborů. V teoretické části se věnuji především zdraví a životnímu stylu, programu Zdravá škola a Výchově ke zdraví jako celku. Detailněji je rozebráno ukotvení Výchovy ke zdraví v Rámcovém vzdělávacím programu a také výhody a nevýhody integrace tohoto vzdělávacího oboru. Praktická část má dvě sekce. První část představuje model integrace VKZ do jiných předmětů, poukazuje na podobnosti v obsazích jednotlivých vzdělávacích oborů a tím představuje možnost začlenění Výchovy ke zdraví do ostatních vyučovacích předmětů. Druhá část obsahuje výsledky výzkumného šetření, které bylo provedeno u učitelů 2. stupně základních škol. Cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit postoje učitelů k integraci Výchovy ke zdraví do jiných vzdělávacích oborů.

Abstract:

The main goal of this diploma thesis is a problemacy of integration of school subject ?Health Education? to another academic subjects. In the theoretical part I focus on health and lifestyle, discuss a programme made by World Health Organization called ?Health School? and I focus on Health education as a general concept. In this theoretical part I discuss in details main advantages and disadvantages of integration of Health Education into framework educational programme. The practical part of the thesis is divided into two parts. In the first part I mentioned about the model of integration of Health Education to another academic subjects, than I point to resemblances between the academic subjects and due to this fact the possibility of integration of Health education concept to another academic subjects. The second part contains results of questionnaire survey between the second stage of elementary school teachers. The main goal of the questionnaire survey was to discover an attitude of second stage elementary school teachers about the integration of Health Education to another academic subjects.
