Ways of Education and Work with Heavily Handicapped Persons in a Social Welfare Institution

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Způsoby vzdělávání a práce s těžce postiženými jedinci v denním stacionáři“ pojednává o pobytu takto postižených osob v denním stacionáři Toník ve Veselí nad Moravou, zejména o možnostech a formách vzdělávání a aktivizačních činnostech pro takto postižené jedince. Teoretická část této práce se upíná zejména k sociálním službám, pod které stacionář spadá, zvláště jakým zákonem jsou vymezeny, do jakých oblastí jsou rozděleny a podobně. Dále se v teoretické části píše o školském zákoně, vzdělávacím systému a vzdělávání osob s handicapy. Nakonec vymezuje a popisuje pojmy jako jsou mentální retardace, dětská mozková obrna, autismus, kombinovaná postižení. V praktické části jsou pak formou otevřeného kódování rozebrány názory, postoje a způsob práce pedagogů a sociálních pracovníků s takto postiženými klienty. Vše doplňují analýzy tří případových studií postižených klientů ze stacionáře Toník.

Abstract:

The Bachelor's Thesis „Ways of Education and Work with Heavily Handicapped Persons in a Social Welfare Institution“ deals with staying of such handicapped individuals in the Social Welfare Institution called Toník in the town of Veselí nad Moravou, particularly with opportunities and forms of education and activation activities for such disabled persons. Theoretical part of this work primarily includes social services which this Institution belongs to, and especially which law defines it, in what areas it is divided to, and so forth. Further on, the theoretical part describes the Education Act, education system and education for people with disabilities. Finally, it defines and describes concepts such as mental retardation, cerebral palsy, autism, multiple disability. Practical part discusses - using the open coding method - ideas, attitudes and way of how teachers and social workers work with those handicapped clients. Analyses of three case studies of handicapped clients from the Social Welfare Institution called Toník are added, too.
