The city and its promotion - to a particular seat

Abstract:

Předat informace občanům, veřejnosti i podnikatelům, které jsou pro ně užitečné, je jednou ze základních věcí, o kterou by se měla každá obec snažit a to v dostatečné kvalitě a validitě. Informace ohledně vizí a misí města, o službách nebo o území samotném podporuje dobrou image daného města, území. Občané by měli znát akce prováděné v místě jejich bydliště a společně s vedením města prožívat přerod a rozvoj města. Neměli by jen nečinně a bez informací přihlížet, ale díky informacím o plánech města, které by měli znát, se aktivně zapojit do rozvoje města. Budou-li občané seznámeni s cíli města, mohou se ztotožnit se svým bydlištěm jako s živým a měnícím se organismem. Díky analýze předchozích marketingově komunikačních aktivit města a plánu nové integrované marketingové komunikace by se tento ideál mohl stát skutečností.

Abstract:

One of the basic issue, which each community shoud try to do in sufficient quality and validity, is to share useful information with citizens, public and business operators. Information about the vision and mission of the city, services or territory promotes a good image of the city or territory. Citizens should be aware of events hold in their residency and together experience the transformation and development of their city. They should not just observe passively and without any information but they should actively participate on the development of the city based on the information about the city´s plans, which ought to be known. If the citizens are familiar with the city´s objectives, they can identify their place of residency as a living and transforming organism. Based on analyze of the previous marketing communication activities and the plan of a new integrated marketing communication, this ideal might become a reality.
