Proposal of a Didactic Support Tool: Professional Foundation for the Revised Chemistry Curriculum in Lower Secondary Education

Abstract:

Tato práce na téma „Návrh výukové opory – odborný základ do revidované chemie“ nabízí možnosti a metody vhodné pro přípravu vyučovacích hodin chemie, které odpovídají požadavkům revidovaného Rámcového vzdělávacího programu (RVP) pro základní vzdělávání (ZV). Tímto způsobem naplňuje cíle Strategie vzdělávací politiky ČR do roku 2030+ v oblasti chemie. Cílem práce je vytvořit metodické přípravy a výukové materiály, které mohou sloužit jako inspirace pro učitele při plánování a realizaci hodin chemie v souladu s novým pojetím oboru. Navržené pracovní listy jsou určeny žákům k upevnění vědomostí a podpoře rozvoje dovedností v dané oblasti. V první části práce se věnuji metodice výuky chemie a jejím specifikům na základní škole. Druhá část obsahuje konkrétní příklady a návrhy aktivit k vybraným tematickým celkům nové chemie, které reflektují aktuální požadavky RVP. Tato výuková opora má sloužit jako návrh různorodých činností ve výuce chemie, s důrazem na aktivní zapojení žáků, venkovní učení, badatelské přístupy a vlastní tvořivou práci.

Abstract:

This thesis, titled “Design of an Educational Support – A Subject-Matter Foundation for the Revised Chemistry Curriculum,” presents approaches and methods suitable for preparing chemistry lessons that comply with the requirements of the revised Fra-mework Educational Programme (FEP) for Basic Education. In doing so, it aligns with the goals of the Czech Education Policy Strategy 2030+ in the field of chemistry. The aim of this work is to develop methodological lesson plans and teaching materials that can serve as inspiration for teachers when designing and implementing chemistry lessons in accordance with the new approach to the subject. The proposed worksheets are intended to help pupils consolidate knowledge and support skill development in the given area. The first part of the thesis focuses on the methodology of teaching chemistry and its specifics at the lower secondary school level. The second part contains concrete examples and suggested activities for selected thematic units of the new chemistry curriculum, reflecting the current FEP requirements. This teaching aid is designed to propose a variety of activ-ities for chemistry lessons, emphasizing student engagement, outdoor learning, inquiry-based approaches, and creative, hands-on work.
