The project of the ABC method utilization in the company Kovostal Ltd.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá moderní metodou řízení nákladů Activity-Based Costing a možnostmi jejího využití ve společnosti Kovostal s.r.o. Teoretická část je rešerší dostupných literárních zdrojů z oblasti řízení nákladů. Úvodem je objasněn vliv nákladů na výkonnost podniku a následně se věnuji jejich klasifikací. Jádrem teoretické části je vytvoření přehledu o tradičně používaných kalkulačních metodách a zejména pak představení moderní metody řízení nákladů Activity-Based Costing. V souvislosti s touto metodou jsou shrnuta teoretická východiska, která byla použita při tvorbě projektu. V praktické části je nejdříve provedena situační analýza společnosti Kovostal s.r.o. a následně je zhodnocena hospodářská situace podniku. Účelem nákladové analýzy je klasifikovat náklady společnosti tak, jak budou použity v projektu. Samostatný úsek praktické části je věnován projektu využití metody Activity-Based Costing ve výše zmíněné společnosti. Závěrem je provedena verifikace a nákladová a časová analýza projektového řešení.

Abstract:

This master thesis deals with the modern method of cost management named Activity-Based Costing, and possibilities of its use in the company of Kovostal Ltd. The theoretical part is a literature search of available literature sources in the area of cost management. At the very beginning is explained the costs impact on company performance and then the cost classification is being clarified. The key part of theoretical section is to make an overview of traditionally used methods and especially the presentation of modern method of cost management, Activity-Based Costing. In relation with this method, the theoretical background, which was used when creating the project, are summarized. The practical part begins with the situational analysis of the company of Kovostal Ltd and after that the economic situation of the company is evaluated. The main purpose of cost analysis is to classify the companies costs, to be used it in the project. An independent part of practical section is devoted to the project of utilization of the Activity-Based Costing method, in the company mentioned above. The verification of project solution as well as its cost and time analysis is performed in conclusion
