Comparison of Models Predicting Rain Attenuation on Satellite Links and Its Verification

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá modely předpovídajícími útlum deště na satelitních spojích na frekvencích nad 10 GHz s využitím údajů o dešti a útlumu, zejména sbíraných Ústavem fyziky atmosféry v České republice. Vypočítat a porovnat předpověď útlumu deštěm s naměřenou pomocí několika modelů a navrhnout nejlepší model.

Abstract:

This bachelor work deals with the models predicting the rain attenuation on satellite links at frequencies above 10 GHz using rain and attenuation data especially collected by the Institute of Atmospheric Physics in Czechia. Calculate and compare rain attenuation prediction with measured one by few models and suggest the best model.
