Abstract:

Téma absolventské práce zní „Sociální práce s lidmi s mentálním postižením“. Cílem práce bylo zjistit „Jaká jsou specifika sociální práce s lidmi s mentálním postižením“. Práce je pak rozdělena do dvou částí, a to teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část je strukturována do pěti kapitol. V první kapitole je vymezena cílová skupina lidí s mentálním postižením. Druhá kapitola se zabývá specifiky sociální práce, jež jsou zaměřené na práci s dospělými lidmi s mentálním postižením v ambulantních službách. Ve třetí kapitole jsou vymezeny metody, přístupy a techniky aplikované při práci s lidmi s mentálním postižením. Čtvrtá kapitola charakterizuje komunikaci s osobami s mentálním postižením. Závěrečná pátá kapitola se zabývá nástroji podpory pro sociálního pracovníka. Praktická část je strukturována z metodologie a analýzy. Pro účely absolventské práce jsem zvolila metodologii kvalitativního výzkumu. Nástrojem sběru dat byl pak polostrukturovaný rozhovor. Na základě zvolené metodologie je zodpovězeno na výzkumnou otázku, která zní: „Jaká jsou specifika sociální práce s lidmi s mentálním postižením z pohledu sociálních pracovníků?“ Na výzkumnou otázku bylo zodpovězeno především v analytické části doloženou výpověďmi osmi konverzačních partnerek. Z výzkumu tedy vyplynulo, že sociální práce s lidmi s mentálním postižením má svá specifika. Specifika jsou dány především osobností sociálního pracovníka, jež představuje v sociálních službách zpravidla první a zároveň garantující osobu, která významně ovlivňuje kvalitu poskytované péče. Je osobou, která je v kontaktu, přistupuje k člověku s mentálním postižením individuálně a s respektem, přizpůsobuje mu komunikaci. Její práce je náročná, ale za podpory a spolupráce celého týmu, vzdělávání a supervize místem, kde plní svoje poslání a má svůj smysl.

Abstract:

The topic of my final work is "Social work with people with mental disabilities". The aim of the final work was to find out "What are the specifics of social work with people with mental disabilities". The final work is then divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is structured into five chapters. The first chapter defines the target group of people with mental disabilities. The second chapter deals with the specifics of social work, which are focused on working with adults with mental disabilities in outpatient services. The third chapter defines methods, approaches and techniques applied when working with people with mental disabilities. The fourth chapter characterizes communication with people with mental disabilities. The final fifth chapter deals with support tools for social workers. The practical part is structured from methodology and analysis. For the purposes of this final work, I chose the methodology of qualitative research. The data collection tool was then a semi-structured interview. Based on the chosen methodology, the research question is answered, which is: "What are the specifics of social work with people with mental disabilities from the perspective of social workers?" The research question was answered mainly in the analytical part supported by the answers of eight conversation partners. The research therefore shows that social work with people with mental disabilities has its own specifics. The specifics are mainly given by the personality of the social worker, who is usually the first and at the same time the guarantor person in social services, who significantly influences the quality of care provided. He is a person who is in contact, approaches a person with mental disabilities individually and with respect, adapts communication to him. Her work has it´s own difficulties, but with the support and cooperation of the whole team, education and supervision, can be a place where she fulfills her mission and has it´s meaning.
