Influencing of telomere phenotype in mutant Arabidopsis plants with single or multiple T-DNA insertions
Abstract:
The main goal of this bachelor’s thesis was to investigate T-DNA mutated Arabidopsis thaliana plants. Modern research of these plants focuses on telomeres and to them related enzyme telomerase. Telomeres are nucleoprotein structures necessary for the proper functioning of chromosomes. Táto bakalárska práca sa venuje T-DNA mutantným rastlinám Arabidopsis thaliana. U týchto rastlín sú predmetom skúmania teloméry a s nimi zviazaný enzým telomeráza. Teloméry sú nukleoproteínové štruktúry nevyhnutné pre správne fungovanie chromozómov.
