Model study of the operation and financing of the Theatre Na zábradlí in relation to plans to transform Prague’s theater network

Anotace:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou transformace divadel na území hlavního města Prahy. Začátek teoretické části popisuje typologii pražských divadel a možné formy jejich financování. Následuje analýza divadelní sítě financované z rozpočtu Magistrátu hlavního města Prahy. Pro tuto část je stěžejní kapitola o transformaci spojená s přeměnou struktury právnických osob. Praktická část se zabývá Divadlem Na zábradlí, jemuž je transformace po řadu let doporučována, jeho historií, postavením v pražské divadelní síti a uměleckým zaměřením, kterým je tato scéna specifická. Dramaturgická a ekonomická situace Divadla Na zábradlí je objasněna analýzou třech posledních sezón a hospodářskými výsledky třech minulých let, na jejichž základě bylo vyhlášeno výběrové řízení na pozici ředitele. Další kapitola se věnuje koncepcím přihlášeným do tohoto řízení. Nedílnou součástí práce a významným zdrojem informací jsou rozhovory se stávající ředitelkou a ekonomkou Divadla Na zábradlí, jejichž výstupem je souhrn všech byrokratických postupů, které jsou přímo i nepřímo spojené s transformací divadla. Cílem bakalářské práce je vytvoření návrhu nejvhodnější právní subjektivity pro Divadlo Na zábradlí v případě, že by toto divadlo transformováno bylo.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the transformation of theaters in the capital city of Prague. The beginning of the theoretical part describes the typology of Prague theaters and possible forms of financing, followed by an analysis of the theater network of the City of Prague. A crucial chapter for this part describes the transformation associated with the changes in the structure of natural person. The practical part deals with the Theatre Na zábradlí, which has had many transformation policies suggested for several years. There has been resistance, however, due to the theater's history, it's place in the Prague theater network and artistic orientation. Programming and the economic situation of the Theatre Na zábradlí is illustrated by an analysis based on the last three seasons and the economic results of the previous three years, as a result of these findings, administrative change was deemed necessary. Another chapter deals with concepts registered in this proceeding. An integral part of the work and an important source of information, were interviews with current economist and director of the Theatre Na zábradlí, whose output is the sum of all bureaucratic actions that are directly or indirectly associated with the transformation of the theater. The aim of this work is to select the most appropriate legal status for the Theatre Na zábradlí in the event that the theater was transformed.
