Employee education as a tool for strategic management and human capital development

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou strategického vzdělávání a rozvoje zaměstnanců v kontextu naplňování strategických cílů organizace. Cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat současné trendy a nástroje v oblasti vzdělávání zaměstnanců z pohledu strategického řízení a rozvoje lidského kapitálu podniku, definovat aplikované metody a způsoby vzdělávání zaměstnanců v multikulturním prostředí nadnárodní společnosti IBM. Teoretická část vymezuje a vysvětluje některé klíčové pojmy z oblasti řízení lidských zdrojů a lidského kapitálu, definuje a upřesňuje problematiku personálních činností v organizaci z pohledu strategického řízení organizace. Výzkumná část aplikuje metody kvantitativního výzkumu v prostředí reálné organizace a zkoumá oblast vzdělávání a rozvoje zaměstnanců, použité metody a nástroje. Závěry výzkumu umožňují zhodnotit současný stav v oblasti vzdělávání a rozvoje zaměstnanců v organizaci a vyvodit několik inovačních doporučení.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of strategic education and development of employees in the context of fulfilling the strategic goals of the organization. The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyze current trends and tools in the field of employee training in terms of strategic management and human capital development of the company, to define the applied methods and ways of employee training in the multicultural environment of the multinational company IBM. The theoretical part defines and explains some key concepts in the field of human resources management and human capital, defines and specifies the issue of personnel activities in the organization from the perspective of strategic management of the organization. The research part applies the methods of quantitative research in the environment of a real organization and examines the area of education and development of employees, the methods and tools used. The conclusions of the research make it possible to evaluate the current state of education and development of employees in the organization and to draw several innovative recommendations.
