Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na téma "Lidé bez domova a lidská důstojnost" a popisuje a analyzuje fenomén bezdomovectví v ČR. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak vnímají lidé bez domova lidskou důstojnost a sebe sama a jak jsou vnímáni ze strany většinové populace. Výzkum byl prováděn formou strukturovaných rozhovorů s lidmi bez domova a s respondenty z řad většinové populace a data byla následně analyzována metodou otevřeného kódování. Provedeným výzkumem bylo zjiš-ěno, že lidé bez domova vnímají sebe sama jako lidské bytosti s důstojností, které se se svojí situací snaží vyrovnat, stejně tak je vnímá i většinová populace. V práci byly využity všechny dostupné prostředky (rešerše literatury, rozhovory a analýza získaných dat).

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on "Homeless people and human dignity" and describes and analyzes the phenomenon of homelessness in the Czech republic. The aim of thesis is to find out how the home-less perceive their human dignity and theirselves, and how they are perceived by the majority population. The research was conducted through semi-structured interviews with homeless people and respondents from the majority population and the data were analyzed using open coding. Research it was found, that homeless people perceive themselves as human beings with dignity, which they are struggling to cope with their situation, just as they are perceived by the majority population. In this thesis were used all available resources (literature research, interviews and analysis of the data).
