Tato práce se zabývá vlivem nejkontroverznějšího amerického diplomata a poradce prezidenta Richarda Nixona pro otázky národní bezpečnosti Henryho Kissingera na americko-čínské vztahy v 70. letech 20. století, konkrétně na rok 1972, kdy obě země sepsaly pakt/smlouvu Šanghajské komuniké. Abstract:
The present thesis deals with the influence of Henry Kissinger – the most controversial American diplomat and Richard Nixon’s advisor on the matter of national safety – on the U.S.-China relations in the 1970s. Namely, it focuses on the year 1972 – the year when the countries issued the treaty/contract known as Shanghai Communiqué.
