Survey of the impact of the internet on leisure time of pupils of seventh grade primary schools in the Ústí Region

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou závislostního chování na internetu u žáků sedmých tříd základních škol v Ústeckém kraji. V teoretické části jsou zpracovaná témata vztahující se ke zvolené problematice, zejména se jedná o možné determinanty vzniku závislostního chování na internetu, jako je věkové hledisko a hledisko náplně volného času. Dále se jedná o rozdělení závislosti na látkovou a nelátkovou a pro praktické využití je přiložený výčet preventivních programů, které se zabývají závislostním chováním na internetu. Praktickou část tvoří výsledky vlastního šetření, jehož cílem je zjištění vlivu množství času stráveného na internetu na pravděpodobnost výskytu závislostního chování na internetu a na způsob trávení volného času. Součástí práce jsou konkrétní závěry a doporučení pro praxi. Dosažené výsledky a stanovená doporučení jsou využitelná v praxi speciální pedagogiky a dalších disciplín tzv. pomáhajících profesí.

Abstract:

The thesis is dedicated to addictive behavior on the Internet of students of seventh grade in Usti region. In theoretical part there are topics related to the chosen theme, especially determinants of formation addictive behavior on the Internet, it is the aspect of age and the aspect of type of spending leasure time. Next chapter devides addiction to substance and behavioral addiction. Practical part is composed of my own research´s results. The aim of this research is to find out the effect of amount of time on the Internet on formation addictive behavior and the effect on the way of spending leasure time. Another part of this thesis are specific conclusions and recommendations for practice. Achieved results and given recommendations are usable for remedial education and other fields - so called caring occupations.
