The advent of home office and its impact on employees' technostress

Abstract:

Drábková, D. Nástup home office a jeho vliv na technostres zaměstnanců. Bakalářská práce. Brno: Mendelova univerzita v Brně, 2023 Bakalářská práce se zabývá oblastí práce z domu, technostresu a jeho vlivu na samotné jedince. Zkoumá především zaměstnance, kteří ve své práci přichází do styku s informačními a komunikačními technologiemi, jejich motivaci a ochotu se učit průběžně nové věci v oblasti ICT, a to, jaký mají přístup k novým technologiím. Také zkoumá jejich obavy o pracovní místo v důsledku „nástupu“ mladší generace, která má v této oblasti často lepší znalosti a zkušenosti. Cílem práce je zhodnotit míru technostresu, seznámit se s obavami souvisejícími s ICT, které mezi zaměstnanci existují a navrhnout doporučení, jak se s technostresem vyrovnat nebo mu předcházet. V analytické části je využit kvantitativní výzkum formou dotazníkové-ho šetření. V závěru jsou navržena doporučení korespondující s výzkumnými otázkami.

Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2023 The bachelor thesis deals with the area of working from home, technostress and its influence on individuals. It mainly examines employees who come into contact with information and communication technologies in their work, their motivation and willingness to learn new things in the field of ICT, and what kind of access they have to new technologies. It also examines their job concerns as a result of the 'entry' of the younger generation, who often have better knowledge and experience in this area. The aim of the paper is to assess access to technology, to learn about the ICT-related concerns that exist among employees and to suggest recommenda-tions for coping with or preventing technostress. The analytical part uses quantitative research in the form of a questionnaire survey.
