Tématem této bakalářské práce je Vznik Československa v českém a německém plzeňském tisku. V teoretické části jsem se nejdříve zabývala popisem vzniku Československa, tedy událostmi, které vzniku tohoto státu předcházely, dále říjnem 1918 a nakonec samotným 28. říjnem, tedy dnem, kdy byla vyhlášena Československá republika.
