Abstract:

The present diploma thesis is an issue we explore ex post and we try to identify the quality change in payment relations, that causes change in the systems of payment. This topic is from the view of euro adoption in Slovakia really interesting, mainly due to fact, that after euro adoption, the origin payment system SIPS was replaced by the new system called EURO SIPS. Slovak Republic had to overpass several changes, which where connected especially to the field of systems of payment. According to changes Slovak republic had to come over, we established the scope of the thesis. The main intention of the thesis is to identify the principle changes in the system. The thesis is based on the analysis of the systems of payment in Slovak Republic, in the period before and after euro adoption. Diploma thesis is divided into the theoretical and analytical part. The theoretical part consists of first two chapters. The basic theoretical terms result from the theoretical framework, these terms are closely connected with the system of payment issue. In the analytical part we try to analyze development of payments in systems of payment SIPS and EURO SIPS and identify changes, which were connected to EURO adoption.

Abstract:

Predložená diplomová práca je problematika, na ktorú sa pozeráme ex post a snažíme sa identifikovať zmenu kvality v platobných vzťahoch, ktorá prináša zmenu v oblasti platobných systémoch. Téma je z pohľadu zavedenia eura na Slovensku veľmi zaujímavá, nakoľko po prijatí meny euro nahradil pôvodný platobný systém SIPS nový systém s názvom EURO SIPS. Slovenská republika pripravila a realizovala mnohé zmeny, ktoré sa týkali práve oblasti platobných systémov. V rámci zmien, ktoré Slovenská republika realizovala, sme stanovili cieľ práce. Cieľom diplomovej práce je identifikácia podstatných zmien v systéme. V práci vychádzame z analýzy platobného systému Slovenskej republiky v období pred zavedením eura a po jeho zavedení a na jej základe napĺňame cieľový rámec práce. Diplomovú prácu sme spracovali v štandardne teoretickej a analytickej časti, pričom teoretická časť je prevažne v prvých dvoch kapitolách. Z teoretického rámca vyplývajú základné charakteristiky pojmov, ktoré úzko súvisia s problematikou platobných systémov a platobného styku. V analytickej časti sa pokúšame analyzovať vývoj platieb v platobnom systéme SIPS a EURO SIPS a identifikovať zmeny, ktoré súviseli s prijatím meny euro.
