Integration of pupils and students with mental illness into the educational process

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou integrace žáků a studentů s duševním onemocněním do vzdělávacího procesu. Hlavním cílem této práce byla odborná připravenost pedagogů v oblasti integrace žáků a studentů s duševním onemocněním. V teoretické části této práce jsou zpracovány teoretické poznatky o žácích a studentech s duševními poruchami a jejich začleňování do výchovně-vzdělávacího procesu běžné školy. V rámci integrace jsou v práci vymezeny faktory, ovlivňující školní integraci, výhody a nevýhody a obecné principy při integraci žáků a studentů se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami. Empirická část za pomoci anonymního dotazníkového šetření zjišťovala odbornou připravenost pedagogů o dané problematice. Výzkumný vzorek tvořili pedagogové z určitých oblastí České republiky. Na závěr empirické části bylo sepsáno doporučení pro pedagogickou praxi.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of integration of pupils and students with mental illness into the educational process. The main aim of this thesis was the professional preparedness of teachers in the field of integration of pupils and students with mental illness. In the theoretical part of this thesis the theoretical knowledge about pupils and students with mental disorders and their integration into the educational process of a regular school is elaborated. Within the framework of integration, the thesis defines the factors affecting school integration, advantages and disadvantages and general principles in the integration of pupils and students with special educational needs. The empirical part, with the help of an anonymous questionnaire survey, investigated the professional preparedness of teachers about the issue. The research sample consisted of educators from specific regions of the Czech Republic. At the end of the empirical part, recommendations for pedagogical practice were written.
